If you’re looking for unobtrusive and natural brand photography, I’m your person.

I create relaxed photos that help you connect with your audience, so you can put the cameraphone down and get on with the stuff you excel at.

Hi, I’m Catherine

I’m a photographer for creative people and brands who want to tell their stories authentically and honestly

Welcome to my corner of the interweb

If not now, when?

They always say you should do what you love, so that’s what I’ve created with this business. I’ve been behind a camera since I was in single digits and I’m a lot further down the line now. I learned one or two things about marketing during an almost 30-year career in broadcasting and when the time came to step off the corporate hamster wheel, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

My photography is inspired by the years I spent in dance and drama classes, rehearsing and staging productions and hanging out backstage. Going to gigs and festivals, watching the engineers on the desk or the roadies setting up. Pouring over photos of film crew hard at work on soundstages and actors goofing off in the make-up chair.

To me, getting a glimpse of the effort behind the scenes is just as important as any finished product.

And now I want to help you show your audience how you do what you do with a different style of brand photography. I will always make sure we capture a headshot (you never know when you’re going to need it) but I firmly believe that your audience, customers and followers would love to get exclusive access to your world. Even the things that you consider to be routine can be of value and I would love to help you show your story.

Sounds like a plan?

If you make, organise, create, teach or build I’d love to work with you to get photos that show you in your happy place, doing what you love.

The personal bio bit

I’ll keep it brief as I’m not one for the over-share.

I live in Sevenoaks, Kent, with my family and three rescue cats (and yes that is one cat too many). I can talk about what I’ve watched on TV and streaming for hours whether you asked me or not and when the heck is Severance coming back?

I also shoot film stills so I can talk even more about film and TV. You have been warned.
